What have we achieved?
As at end of August 2024 Vivedus has been operating as a company for six months having been registered on 4 March 2024.
We launched to the public on 24 May 2024, a mere 14 weeks ago. During the past six months we have achieved a significant amount, and our team are proud.

Pitch: We have created a new category for Vivedus and created an elevator pitch to explain succinctly what it is we do:
Category:
Vivedus is a Learning Activation company.
We sell a learning activation model. Dimensions of Learning, Universal Design for Learning and PBL are Learning Activation Models, like Vivedus. But Vivedus is the only Learning Activation Model that activates creative intelligence.
Vision:
To activate creative intelligence
The Problem:
Why is activating creative intelligence crucial? Because in today's evolving landscape, where Artificial Intelligence advances rapidly, the ability to think creatively is key to a young person’s engagement, learning, navigation of challenges and employability.
The Product:
Vivedus offers the only Learning Activation Model integrated with a digital, AI-enabled platform that empowers educators to teach and assess creative intelligence while providing school leaders with precise insights into the quality of teaching and learning across every classroom. Using the platform also significantly reduces teacher workload. This has been the primary messaging on LinkedIn and media releases, helping build brand-awareness and an understanding of what Vivedus offers.
Newsletters:
We have produced three, monthly newsletters with contributions from:
- Professor Andy Hargreaves (USA)
- Professor Pam Burnard (University of Cambridge)
- Professor Nigel Crook (Oxford-Brookes University, Oxford)
- Emeritus Professor Ed Brooker (Canada)
CRM: We have designed a sales journey using Freshworks as the Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) and developed a number of marketing assets including videos (3), a prospectus, and supporting materials for principals and schools.
Profiles: Paul Browning has grown LinkedIn followers from 4714 to 5046 (+322) and has 4,472 connections.
Gabrielle has 250 connections (+250 since March 2024).
Speaking: Paul has spoken at a number of events where he has used the opportunity to raise awareness of Vivedus.
- Darabin-Yarra region principals conference (80 state school principals)
- Independent Schools Victoria aspiring principals’ program (40 participants)
- NextEd Conference (Lutheran Conference, 250 participants)
- St Margaret Marys’ College senior leadership team
Intellectual Property
Gabrielle has developed from scratch all the intellectual property and documentation, and linked all the supporting research, including her Master’s thesis, to the Model that is Vivedus. Part of this work has been done with the University of Melbourne, with whom we established a new relationship and contract that was signed in June 2024.
Platform
There are five modules that make up the Vivedus Platform:
- The Planner, which is the foundation and core of the Platform;
- The Growth and Progression Module, the teacher appraisal and feedback module;
- The Community of Practice, a ‘library’ where teachers can share and use exemplar teaching plans;
- The Learner Profile, a student report linked to the assessment of creative intelligence; and,
- The Principal Dashboard, the data diagnostics for school leaders.
The following is an infographic to illustrate the development of each module to 31 August 2024. Each module is in two parts, the underpinning research and documentation, and the digital Platform. The size of each of the five modules in the infographic reflects its proportion relative to the entire Platform. You can see that the largest module is the Planner module.
We have an MVP now in the Planner Module. This is the first module schools would onboard with. Apart from the Principal Dashboard, Schools wouldn’t onboard staff to the remaining modules for at least 12months into their change-management plan.
In addition to the work developing the Platform, we have built a User Manual (help desk), a Knowledge-base (library for users), and a user support structure.
Partners
We have been trying to court a number of partners who have similar values and work in similar areas already in the marketplace, offering student programs in entrepreneurship and design thinking to schools. We differ in that we offer a school/teacher facing product. Each of those groups have seen what Vivedus does and overwhelmingly affirmed the product. In forming a partnership with these groups, we would hope that they would open doors for us, introducing us to interested schools.
Blue Knot Foundation
We signed an agreement with the Blue Knot Foundation whereby we donate a portion of our profits to support their work. Blue Knot put out a media release in July which led to articles in the Courier Mail, news.com and the interview on ABC Radio.
